About My Sessions
My sessions for newborns are ideally done between 5-14 days old when they’re nice and sleepy, I have also done up to four weeks old. I have a spacious studio in my home where it is toasty warm to help your newborn sleep (and sometimes husbands), toys, Netflix and Disney channel to keep siblings occupied. My goal of every newborn session is to capture the essence of your newborn. Wrinkly fingers and toes, pouty lips, rolls on their back, spontaneous smiles -these are all the things I love to capture. I also love to style a session that is suited to your home so that when you print them they match your taste, this is why I have every client who books with me fill out a questionnaire that helps me to tailor a session to you.
Don’t be nervous about your shoot!
EVERYONE gets nervous when they’re coming in for their shoot. Even when it was my turn to have my own family photoshoot I was nervous! Don’t worry, I got this. It’s my job as a newborn photographer to help you feel comfortable and tell you what to do which is not much, the hardest part is showing up😉If you’re unsure what to wear I have created a Pinterest page of colour pallets that would go well together to help you, you can also send me a message✌🏼.
How to we predict when my baby is born?
It’s crucial to book your session before your baby is born. Only 5% of babies are actually born on their due date, crazy right? This is why we book a tentative date a week after your due date. It is essential you message me as soon as you can after bubs is born so we can confirm the date and time. I only book a limited number of newborns each month so there is no way you will miss out on your session if booked while your are pregnant, after that there’s no guarantee’s I’ll have space for you,
